Ferry Cross the Mersey


The British Invasion exhibit organized by The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Cleveland, Ohio.
October 27, 2009-February 26, 2010.


An exhibition of framed photographs captures some of the British Invasion acts of the early 1960s both onstage and behind the scenes. The prints are from the archives of 16 magazine, a music-oriented magazine for teens in the 1960s and 1970s. Publisher Gloria Stavers insisted on exclusive photos for her publications and, due to her influence as a tastemaker, artists often complied. Learn more.
