Windhover Center for the Arts in partnership with Someday Travel invite Windhover members to join them on a 10-day tour of France: The Best of Provence, The French Riviera and Paris.

You will arrive in Nice, spending the first night relaxing in time to take a tour the following day of one of the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera, Saint-Paul-de-Vence. There you may visit any of its art museums and galleries. The following day will be spent touring Antibes, Biot and Vallauris.

With its narrow streets and Provencal Market, Antibes preserved its authentic Picasso museum in the old Grimaldi Castle and a 16th century fort overlooking one of the largest private yacht harbors in France. Biot is known for its glass factories producing a unique type of a glass suffused with tiny bubbles. Vallauris is famous for its pottery and it is also the place where Picasso discovered his passion for creating pottery. You will also enjoy a visit to Cannes, the home of the annual Cannes Film Festival and known for its luxury shops and restaurants.

The following morning includes a visit to Monaco and Montecarlo where you may enjoy time in the Montecarlo Casino before an afternoon visit to the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, a French seaside palazzo filled with antique furniture, paintings, sculptures, and an extensive collection of rare porcelain. The gardens are classified by the French Ministry of Culture as one of the Notable Gardens in France.

Wine tasting is on the schedule for the following day when you stop at Chateau Saint Roseline before heading to Arles, where you will visit the Roman Amphitheatre and items of interest relating to Vincent Van Gogh. Next is a train to Paris.

In Paris you may visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysees. The following day, you may take a guided tour of the Louvre Museum, one of the world's largest and most visited museum. The last day you may venture on your own in Paris before heading home.
