Big Band Tuesdays

1st and 3rd Tuesdays at Elk's Lodge

Other Location

Free to the General Public

The Lighthouse Big Band is a 16-piece "reading" big band consisting of local and regional musicians that formed thanks to efforts and dedication of the late Jim Arthur of Fond du Lac. The Lighthouse Big Band, directed by Marian University music professor Brian Lydeen, consists of many current and retired music educators. Everyone who plays in the group is a volunteer who plays for tips.

All the members are committed to the endeavor out of their love for big band jazz and to preserve the art form in the Fond du Lac area. The members of the Lighthouse Big Band are excited to perform as part of the Fond du Lac Jazz festival and especially to share the stage with world-renowned vocalist Kevin Mahogany.

Next Performance

Due to the construction at Windhover Center, all performances are now at Elk's Lodge, 33 Sheboygan St. Follow the construction project on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter #pardonourprogress
